The greater Waterford area, located in Southeastern Wisconsin, encompasses Waterford, Tichigan and Rochester. Approximately 30 minutes southwest of Milwaukee, 2 hours north of Chicago and 1 hour 45 minutes southeast of Madison, we are easy to escape to when you long for our small town atmosphere.
Waterford's first residents established a homestead in 1836, 12 years before Wisconsin was officially classified as a state of the union. Today more than 10,000 people and over 300 businesses call our community home.
From scenic parks, bike and snowmobile trails, exciting water resources and outdoor activities, to unique shops and fine restaurants, there is truly something for everyone in Waterford.
The Waterford Area Community Guide is an excellent resource for information on the area.
